Ndele - A Spotted Hyena
Ndele (pronounced en-del-lay) is a male spotted Hyena from the plains of Africa. His name is derived from the Swahili word for trickster and this fits him perfectly: he LOVES to play practical jokes on others! If you can't see him around then you know he's getting into mischief somewhere. He also loves telling jokes and laughing right along. He's a bit of a tough guy too.
His distinguishing features are his orange-yellow fringe, sloped rump, blunt heavy face, and short lion tail.
